Peacock Blue State Park Peacock Beach State Park is a convenient drive off Maine Route 201 on Pleasant Pond in Richmond, about 12 miles from Maine's capital city, Augusta. A small beach and swimming area staffed with a lifeguard make this an ideal spot for a family picnic.
